Medina County Senior and Adult Services

MCSAS Home Delivered Meals & Shopping Referrals

The Soprema Senior Center staff is able to complete referrals for a number of Medina County Senior and Adult Services programs.

Any adult over the age of 60 can now contact Medina County Senior and Adult Services at 330-723-9514 to be connected with a volunteer shopper. The volunteer will contact the senior and take their grocery order. They will then shop at any Medina County Buehler’s location (Medina River Styx, Medina Forest Meadows, or Wadsworth) and the customer service desk will facilitate payment with the senior. The financial transaction is between Buehler’s and the senior customer ONLY and the volunteers will complete the shopping and deliver it to the senior’s residence.

MCSAS reached out to Buehler’s Fresh Foods and they responded by adapting their business practice to accommodate seniors who may be somewhat technologically challenged or unable to utilize an online shopping system.

The Medina County Senior and Adult Services office also delivers meals and shelf stable foods. For more information, please visit their website at http://www.mcooa.org or call the MCSAS at 330-723-9514.
