Tom Morris assumed the role of Director of Economic Development for the City of Wadsworth on January 1, 2024. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Law Director of the City of Wadsworth. In that capacity, Tom played a crucial role in spearheading multiple initiatives to foster economic growth within the City of Wadsworth and the surrounding townships.
Tom is a lifelong resident of Wadsworth, and a proud graduate of Wadsworth High School. Tom holds a B.A. in Economics from The Ohio State University and earned his J.D. with honors from the University of Akron School of Law. A dedicated professional, Morris is a member of the Medina County Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and an alum of Leadership Medina County.
Tom is also very involved in his community. As a member of the Blue Tip Committee for over 20 years, he has been instrumental in putting together this signature community event as well solely responsible for organizing the Blue Tip Parade.
