Members
The Tax Incentive Review Council consists of three representatives appointed by the Board of County Commissioners; two representatives of the City, appointed by the Mayor, with Council approval; the county auditor or designee; and, a representative of each affected board of education.
At least two members must be residents of the City of Wadsworth. Established by Ohio Revised Code 5709.85 and Wadsworth Ordinance No. 52-96. Medina County Commissioners' Resolution No. 99-185 indicates that the City makes recommendation for appointments that are then approved by the commissioners, with no term limits.
