Medina County Board of Health includes one Wadsworth member appointed by the Mayor, and requiring City Council approval, to a six-year term. A seventh member was added in 2004, with the seat given to a Licensing Council Member.
Overview
The board was established in 1960 to unite the city health districts of Medina, Wadsworth and Brunswick for a combined board, with one member from each of the cities and three representatives from the townships and villages.
