Jared began his legal career in 2007 as an assistant prosecutor in Wayne County, Ohio. As an assistant prosecutor, he represented the State of Ohio in many criminal and civil cases. In 2011, Jared joined Jackwood Law Office in Wooster, Ohio where he practiced in the areas of Family Law, Business Law, and Criminal Law.
In 2016, he co-founded the Law Firm of Ondrey & Roberts, LLC, where he focused his practice on Criminal and Traffic Defense work. From 2016 until 2023 Jared also served on occasion as Acting Judge in the Wadsworth Municipal Court.
As Assistant Law Director, Jared will primarily prosecute misdemeanor criminal and traffic cases arising within the jurisdiction of the Wadsworth Municipal Court.
