SANITATION SERVICES
- THE USE OF TRANSFER STATION: Drop off trash between regular pickups or bring large bulk items to the Transfer Station. The facility is open Monday - Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM and Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM. It is located at 165 Auble Street.
- BULK ITEM PICKUP: You can request a pickup of a bulk materials for an additional cost. More information and pricing can be found on the Sanitation Department page at WadsworthCity.com
- DUMPSTER RENTALS: 8 cu. ft. yard dumpsters are available to be rented for your short-term remodeling or housecleaning needs!
- HAVING A PARTY: The $25 Party Plan provides three 96 gallon carts rentals for three days!
- RECYCLING: Recycling in Wadsworth is coordinated by the Medina County Solid Waste District using single-stream drop-off bins placed throughout the county. The Wadsworth bins are located at the Transfer Station at 165 Auble Street.

2026 SANITATION COLLECTION HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
- New Year’s Day - Thursday, January 1: If you normally put your cart out on Wednesday, put it out on Thursday.
- Memorial Day - Monday, May 25: One day behind all week. If you normally put your cart out on Sunday, put it out on Monday.
- Labor Day - Monday, September 7: One day behind all week. If you normally put your cart out on Sunday, put it out on Monday.
- Thanksgiving Holiday - November 26 & 27: If you normally put your cart out on Wednesday, put it out on Thursday.
- Christmas Day - Friday, December 25: If you normally put your cart out on Thursday, put it out on Friday.
- Please note that the trash schedule will remain the same for the holiday weeks that are NOT mentioned above.

YARD WASTE COLLECTION
The winter yard waste collection and brush pick-up program is offered on the third Tuesday of each month until April. Customers must call the Transfer Station at (330) 335-2847 at least 24 hours in advance to request a pick-up. All yard waste must be placed on the street by 11:30 p.m. on the night before pickup. Yard waste stickers are available year-round for $2 each at the following locations:

- Transfer Station
- Wadsworth Buehler’s
- Wadsworth Giant Eagle
SERVICE REQUEST FORMS
Need to report an issue, ask a question, or request City services? Submit your non emergency request through the online Service Request Form on the City’s website. Your request goes directly to the right department and is reviewed Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Someone will follow up with you as needed to ensure it’s addressed.
WIRELESS EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM (WENS)
We encourage all residents, friends, and families within Wadsworth to take the time to register to receive mass notification messaging from the WENS system. You can receive alerts by text, phone, or email. Alert types include tornados, earthquakes, law enforcement messages, civil dangers, and more!
