Wadsworth has one DORA and it is located in downtown Wadsworth. The hours of operation for the DORA are between 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. everyday. The map below shows the boundaries.

To drink an alcoholic beverage in the DORA boundaries, you must ask for your drink in a DORA cup (see the image below) and pay an additional nominal fee. Signs on bars and restaurants will indicate if they are participating in the DORA program. Signs will also be installed at the DORA district boundaries to indicate the area in which DORA beverages may be consumed.

Beer, wine, and liquor are all allowable drinks in DORA cups. Drinks must be purchased from a participating business.

No, once a DORA cup has left a business, it must be consumed before you enter any establishment with a liquor permit or designated with a "Not Permitted Here!" decal. This includes reentering the business in which it was purchased.

No, you must dispose of a DORA cup before entering any business with a liquor permit or designated with a "Not Permitted Here" decal. The cups are single use, but rest assured all cups are recyclable!

A Safety Plan ensures public safety within the DORA. City of Wadsworth staff, including the Wadsworth Police Department, is committed to working with the community and the businesses within the DORA to preserve and maintain the safety and security of all who visit and work there. The Safety Plan includes officer patrol responsibilities and a schedule for reviewing and updating the DORA guidelines.
