  • Complete a zoning permit application and submit it along with a site plan, an iaerial view of your lot (available at medinacountyauditor.org), or an accurate sketch showing property lines, existing structures and their setback from adjacent property lines; the location, dimensions and setbacks of the property deck. Applications for fence permits should show the location where the fence will be placed; fence height, material & style (privacy or solid fences vs non-privacy fences).

  • Typically, no permit is required to pave or repave an existing driveway.  However, a zoning permit is required to expand a driveway (in length or width) of a driveway on private property.  If the new driveway expansion extends across the sidewalk or involves widening the driveway apron (which connects the driveway to the street) a Right-of-Way (ROW) permit will also be required.  ROW permits are issued by the Engineering Dept.
