    Election & Service

    Ward 3 Councilwoman, Jeanne Hines, was elected in 2019 and is currently serving her second term on City Council. As part of her duties, Mrs. Hines serves on the Public Service Committee, Public Ways Committee, the Shade Tree Commission, and the Electric Power Supply Advisory Board.


    Mrs. Hines began her teaching career in 1992 with Chippewa Local School District in Doylestown. She has taught kindergarten through middle school students. Currently, she is teaching first grade.


    Jeanne Hines attended Wadsworth City Schools and graduated from Wadsworth High School.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Kent State University. In addition, she received her Master of Education in Administration from Ashland University. She continues to take post-graduate classes at Fresno Pacific University.

    Volunteer Work

    The councilwoman is involved with the Wadsworth Hunt Club and serves as the chair of their youth camps sponsored by the Lake and Trails Organization. She likes to encourage young people to be involved in outdoor activities. Mrs. Hines attends Radiant Life Church. 


    Mrs. Hines has been a lifelong resident of Wadsworth. She is the proud mother of two daughters, Hannah Elizabeth and Katherine Anne.
