Clampco
In a recent expansion of its manufacturing facility, Clampco added 60,000 square feet of manufacturing capacity. At an estimated 2.8 million dollars, Clampco was expecting to add 10 new positions with the expansion but in reality, added many more. This is the second expansion for Clampco but most likely not the last!
Remington Products Company
Remington Products had divisions in multiple locations in the Midwest and wanted to consolidate. In order to make that possible, they needed to add a 60,000 square foot warehouse and 2,000 square feet of office space. They have been able to add 9 jobs and invest approximately 7.7 million dollars with the result being higher sales, and better ranking on Amazon!
Akro-Mils
Akro-Mils, a division of Myers Industries, recently needed more distribution space. Their new space accommodates 39 new positions and constructed their own substation to augment the power from the City.
St. Edwards
The Village of St. Edwards is a well-known senior living provider in northeast Ohio. Looking to expand their operation into Medina County, they were able to find what they needed in the Brickyard area of Wadsworth. The 23 million dollar project received funding assistance from the Medina County Port Authority and has been granted a tax abatement. They are expected to create 70 new jobs with an estimated payroll of $1.8 million dollars.
