Overview

Owned by the City of Wadsworth, Wadsworth Municipal Airport is a public access airport located just a few miles southwest of downtown Wadsworth. Its proximity to Interstate 76 makes it easily accessible from major Ohio cities, and nearby amenities include lodging, dining, shopping, and other recreational activities.

Wadsworth Municipal Airport boasts two asphalt runways, 10/28(2392x35ft) and 2/20(3529x75ft), enabling a wide range of aircraft to operate in and out of Wadsworth. It is a link to all types of aviation, including corporate aviation, recreational flying, expert flight training, glider operations, and sky diving.

In 2018, PHI Air Medical and Cleveland Clinic chose Wadsworth for their southern EMS helicopter base.  This service links patients from Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia to the world-renowned services of the Cleveland Clinic. 

Management

Management for the Wadsworth Municipal Airport is handled by Flight Services of Wadsworth. Manager, Chad Haller, may be reached at 330-334-9861. The airport is overseen by the City of Wadsworth Airport Commission, ensuring maximum utilization of the airport and its capabilities.
